VI Winter Seminar - The Future of the State

Last weekend, on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, the sixth edition of the Winter Seminar was held with the theme "The Future of the State". The event took place at Pousada dos Pinhos in Pedra Azul/ES and was a moment of great content and interaction among the participants.

Offered by Futura Inteligência, the VI Winter Seminar had the following sponsors: APD Advogados, Grupo Coutinho, HS3 Seguros, Tegrus, and Wedo. In addition, we had the support of the companies Benn Papéis, BNG Metalmecânica, Supermercado Extra Plus, and 4 Elos Distribuidora for the sports activities.

On the first day, Leonard Batista, Associate II of the Institute, was the master of ceremonies who conducted the event, which started with a workshop with the presence of the guest Alexandre Ludolf, CIO of QR Asset. With the theme "Crypto Market in Practice", the workshop was mediated by Associate I, Juliana Bravo.

In the evening's lecture, we counted with the presence of Rodrigo Dessaune, CEO and Co-chairman of ISH Tech Group, whose theme was "Digital Security: Concern for the future?", and was mediated by Associate II, Mateus Oliveira. After the lecture, the discussions continued at a small happy hour.

On the second day, the event was conducted by the master of ceremonies Vander Giuberti, current Alumni Associate of the Institute. ILAx was the first attraction of the day, which consists in the presentation of dynamic lectures, in the TED model, about associates' cases, presented exclusively at the Winter Seminar. This year, five people participated, which were: Alberto Vieira, Amanda Reginatto, Cláudio Paixão, Gustavo Ribeiro and Martina Pimentel.

All of them presented their inspiring and touching stories and, at the end, the audience voted for the presentation that stood out the most. The chosen story was "Malabarista", by Alumni Associate and ILAx 2022 winner, Martina Pimentel.

In the afternoon we had the lecture with Diogo Costa, President of the National School of Public Administration, and Ricardo Sondermann, Founder and Chairman of the Churchill Society Brazil. The lecture was mediated by Associate II, Luan Sperandio, and focused on the event's central theme: "The Future of the State".

After the lecture, the ILA Experience was opened, it is a new initiative of different sports activities for the Winter Seminar. This year we had four sports in which members could choose which to participate, which were: walking, soccer, ping-pong and trekking. Also on Saturday we had a social night with the participants, with the presence of a band and a DJ.

The event ended on Sunday morning with the continuation of the ILA Experience, in which the winners of the above mentioned sports were elected, thus concluding the VI Winter Seminar - The Future of the State. We look forward to see you next year!
