Summer Seminar 2022 and Extra Event: How to be a good event leader?

Associates participated in two extraordinary events this past week: the Summer Seminar 2022 and the workshop on being a good event leader.

Last Saturday, February 12th, the Summer Seminar 2022 took place, with the theme “State for whom?”. We had the participation of three great national speakers, Adriano Paranaiba, Economist, Doctor in Transport, professor of economics at IFG, Editor-in-Chief of Mises Journal and Academic Director of Instituto Mises Brasil; Augusto Lins, one of the founding partners of Stone Pagamentos and president of StoneCo; and Luciano Timm, Professor at FGV-SP, partner at Carvalho, Machado e Timm Advogados and President of the Brazilian Association of Law and Economics.

We had a total of 3 panels, the first had the theme “Meet the Leaders” and had the participation of Luiz Henrique Stanger, Alumni Associate of the Institute, and was mediated by Gustavo Ribeiro, Honorary Associate of the Institute. The second Panel had the theme: “Is there an ideal Rule of Law?”, composed by Adriano Paranaiba and Luciano Timm, mediated by the Institute's Associate II, Luan Sperandio. The last panel was composed by Augusto Lins and mediated by Anna Luiza Guerzet, Associate II of the Institute, and its theme was “Entrepreneuring in adversity”.

The event was a complete success, in addition to the lectures, we had a moment of integration with lunch and live music, where associates were able to connect even more. And speaking of success, the workshop that took place yesterday, 02/17, was also a surprise. Its theme was: “How to be a good event leader?”, so that associates could learn and be increasingly aligned with the Institute.

The event's leader was Lívia Dalla Bernardina, and the presenters were the members participating in the Training Board Committee, Larissa Gaspar, Associate Alumni, Luan Sperandio, Associate II, and Rodrigo Lorenzoni, Associate II. They dynamically brought what is necessary to be a great leader in the Líderes events, bringing other associates to talk a little about the experience that each one had.
