Pre-Forum Alignment

Yesterday, October 3rd, the Pre-Forum Alignment took place, exactly one month to the 10th Liberty and Democracy Forum in Vitoria. The event takes place so that the Project Committee can align with the other members the expectations, the organization's progress and the preparations for one of the biggest debates of ideas in Brazil. The leader of the event was the Alumni associate and Project Director, Danniel Benevides, who counted with the participation of his committee, composed by: Jéssica Prata, Nadia Medici, and Yuri Corrêa.

Besides the committee members, during the event there were speeches from other members, such as the speech from the current President of Líderes, Lucas Mendonça, about the importance of the forum, as well as showing the confirmed speakers and the event's program. The group that created the Forum's slogan "Brazil: 200 years above the law" also talked about the concept of the phrase, followed by a dynamic among the members, so that they could understand even more about the theme.

José Guilherme Correa and Gustavo Ribeiro are Alumni Associates and were Project Directors for the years 2019 and 2020, respectively, and were invited to talk a little about the experiences they each had organizing and coordinating the Forums in the years they were in charge, telling about the successes, mistakes, surprises and necessary preparations. Associate II, Hugo Schneider, responsible for the mediators and presenters of the Forum, and Associate II, Samara Gnocchi, who is in charge of ILAshop, were also invited to talk about their progress and expectations.

There is a phrase that defines the culture of Líderes and was used a lot during yesterday's event: "The Institute is made by Members for Members". In other words, if it wasn't for the voluntary work of the Members the Institute would not have the size and relevance it has today, showing how necessary the help of all is for the construction of the 10th Liberty and Democracy Forum of Vitoria.
