Lecture with Wilson Poit

Yesterday, March 21, Wilson Poit gave a lecture to the members of Líderes, in person, at América Centro Empresarial. The event was mediated by the leader Rodrigo Paes Freitas, Associate III of the Institute. The speaker Wilson Poit is an entrepreneur, focused on business strategies, an expert and mentor for small and medium-sized companies. He is the founder of Poit Energia, a temporary energy supply company wich is leader in Brazil, that was sold in 2012 to the English company Aggreko, the world leader in the sector.

After the sale of Poit Energia, Wilson began to dedicate himself to the public sector, participating in three municipal administrations in the city of São Paulo, having led, as Municipal Secretary of Privatization and Partnerships, the conduction of the Municipal Privatization Plan, a reference program throughout Brazil. Currently, he is the Superintendent Director of Sebrae SP and participates in the Boards of Directors of large companies, such as Light RJ, Endeavor, Centro Paula Souza and Casa do Construtor.

Poit presented his entire life trajectory in yesterday's lecture, exposing details from his life in the countryside to the great success of Poit Energia, showing in a simple and valuable way the ups and downs of his journey and giving admirable advice to associates. These advices serve as great inspiration for young leaders, who are still at the beginning of their careers, which added even more value to the content presented.
