"The principles of Objectivism and its practical implications" was the theme of yesterday's lecture, June 6, given by guest speaker Roberto Rachewsky and Honorary Associate Henrique Romano, with the mediation of Associate III, Pedro Henrique Negreiros.

With more than sixty associates present in the auditorium of the América Centro Empresarial, the event had rich discussions about Objectivism in the light of Ayn Rand, even more after a week of studying her book "The Foutain".

Pedro Henrique highlighted in his briefing: "We were introduced to characters such as Galt, Taggart, and Roark, whose character and principle construction help shape values. And today, we will have the opportunity to delve into questions about Objectivism and Ayn Rand's philosophy."

Thus, Henrique began the lecture bringing the definition of Objectivism, concepts of metaphysics and its sources of research, as well as epistemology, ethics, politics, law, aesthetics, among others. Roberto, a businessman, co-founder and former president of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, the Liberty Institute, and the Atlantos Institute, brought in his speech his experiences and practical implications in the current national and international terrain.

Finally, the debate between both of them and the members was entirely reflective, causing simplistically delicate topics to come into discussion, such as abortion, immigration, and wars. As a curiosity, for venturing into liberal instances and organizations as presented, Rachewsky received the Freedom Award given by the Leaders of Tomorrow Institute in 2018.
