Yesterday, July 18, the associates of the Institute Leaders of Tomorrow had a lecture with Renata Marques, CIO of Natura &co, in the auditorium of the America Centro Empresarial. The event was mediated by Evandro Correia, associate III of the Institute.
Renata has a vast curriculum in the management area, she passed through companies like Whirlpool, ABB and Monsanto, where she worked in the areas of digital transformation, innovation, cloud strategy, collaboration and transactional systems, ensuring pillars for the digital transformation movement and expansion of business ecosystems.
The event leader, Evandro, brought in his briefing a little more about the speaker: "Despite being a technology head, Renata follows one of Jim Collins' great commandments when it comes to management which is "first who, then what". This teaching translates the importance of people in every company's process".
During the event, Renata talked about her trajectory, how she started at Monsanto, her passage through ABB, Whirlpool until she got to where she is today at Natura &co. She also talked about the difficulties she faced, the challenge of the ambidextrousness that is necessary in this technological area, the culture shocks when she changed companies and when she changed countries, but always showing the various learnings from these changes and challenges.
The event was closed with a chat where the event leader and the associates themselves could ask questions both knowledge-oriented and curious about the speaker and the companies mentioned.
Soon we will have an ILAcast episode with Renata, stay tuned!
