With more than 600 thousand subscribers on Youtube, the Founder of Ideias Radicais held a lecture at Líderes this week
"I went there and did it." The speech by the activist, writer and speaker Raphaël Lima was present at the ordinary event of Líderes, on November 22 (Monday). He founded the largest activism network for freedom in Portuguese, Ideias Radicais, with more than 600 thousand subscribers on Youtube.
Through this community, he travels to other countries and talks with government officials to bring the best public policy proposals to the Brazilian debate. Associate III and event leader, Lyssia Carreira, brought in her briefing:
“Many times when we hear the word anarchocapitalist we already think of utopian and extremist arguments for a society that is difficult to reach. But, after listening to the podcasts and watching the videos on the Ideias Radicais channel, I realized that it is possible to have ‘ancaps’ ideas and be grounded to think not only about the dream, but also about how to get there from the reality that we live in today.”
Raphaël spoke about the challenges of the movement, the path they are taking to increase freedom in Brazil, how communication and its influence generate impact for future actions, as well as mentioning problems of low technical and management skills that we face.
