Yesterday, November 7th, happened the lecture with Júlio Pompeu, writer, professor, specialist in Ethics and Human Rights. The event took place in the auditorium of the América Centro Empresarial and the leader and mediator was associate III, Vinícius Frazzi.

The lecture had as its central theme the philosophy, politics and ethics in individuals' decision making, being a complementary event to the study of the book "Justice - what is doing the right thing?" written by Michael J. Sandel. In addition, Julio also brought a bit about virtue and morality, bringing more content to the evening.

To introduce the event, Vinícius presented his briefing as follows: "They say that in Brazil even the past is uncertain. What to say then about the future? But in some aspects of life, we cannot be in doubt. Our values and principles guiding an ethical, fair, and moral life cannot be negotiable or change following the wind.

From this Júlio started his very philosophical speech leading to reflection for all the associates present. He also brought a little about the meaning of freedom and how it is linked to conscience. At the end of the event, there was a moment of questions and answers, where the doubts of the participants were answered, thus ending the event.
