Yesterday, May 23, the lecture with Daniel Mendez took place for the associates of Leaders, in person, at the America Centro Empresarial. The event was mediated by leader Suzanny Hellen Viana Leal, Associate II of the Institute. The speaker is a born entrepreneur, founder and president of Sapore, a company he created in 1992. Currently he also holds the position of President of Lide Empreendedor and of the Associação Brasileira das Empresas de Refeições Coletivas (ABERC).
The event leader, Suzanny, brought in her briefing a little about the company Sapore: "SAPORE is a Brazilian multinational specialized in the operation of corporate restaurants. It serves the automotive, banking, mining, school, and hospital sectors, among others. SAPORE was also responsible for the collective feeding of 25 thousand people from 200 countries during the Olympics and Paralympics in Brazil. The company is in 23 states in Brazil, in addition to operations in Colombia, and has 15,000 employees and revenues of more than 1.5 billion reais/year".
From this, the theme of the lecture was based on the history of Sapore's creation and development, by Daniel Mendez. He brought in detail all the processes that the company went through to reach the level it is today, what was done for the company's growth, the crises encountered along the way, the new learnings, positive and negative experiences, in addition to bringing details about billing, growth, among others.
The event was dynamic, in that besides the questions asked by the leader of the event, there were also questions from the associates. Mendez answered the questions openly, generating more learning for all who were watching.
