From the Winter Seminar to the Ordinary Event, the associates had the opportunity to meet great names in Brazilian liberalism

On the first weekend of July, July 2nd to 4th, the fifth edition of the Winter Seminar – Actions that promote Freedom happend. The event traditionally takes place in Pedra Azul, a place where associates can attend lectures and workshops, participate in sports activities, as well as meet the associates of Instituto Líderes do Amanhã.

This year, Pousada dos Pinhos was the chosen location. There we received 130 participants, including sponsors, speakers, associates and companions. The first were Apx Invest, Grupo Biancogres, Onfly and Private Construtora. The second ones were Professor of Philosophy Dennys Xavier, Partner-President of Autoglass Fernando Carreira, Head of E-commerce at Wine Gabriel Benz, founder of GetNet and 4all José Renato Hopf and humorist Claudio Manoel.

A milestone of the seminar was witnessing the presentation in TEDx format of 6 members selected for the ILAx. Carolinne Tavares, Gabriel Feitosa, Thiago Rizzo, Lara Ghiotto, George Dalpiero and Luan Sperandio went through 3 months of training and preparation to demonstrate in 15 minutes the best of their oratory and ability to convince about a subject discussed in their lives. Gabriel Feitosa was the winner from a voting form sent to all participants.

Still, the event did not end on Sunday. On Monday, July 5th, the speaker Dennys Xavier remained in Espírito Santo to participate in the event “Ayn Rand e o Objectivism”, the last ordinary event of the Leaders. "The concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity and reason as his only absolute", highlights Ramon Zuqui Paganini, Associate III and leader of the event, with the writer's phrase in her briefing.

In view of the topic addressed both in the seminar and in the lecture, freedom permeates the identity of those present there, and spreads to ever greater dimensions. We continue to take every precaution so that events can happen following safety protocols, such as the mandatory use of masks and availability of alcohol and gel in the places in question.
