Some topics from the book written by the American physician Ron Paul were presented at the ordinary event last Monday

Presenters Kamyla Monteiro, Luan Sperandio, Saulo Graize, Vander Giuberti and Vinicius Frazzi brought in their speeches the story of the author of the book, his career in medicine and politics, his ideas and convictions, among other curiosities.

They point out that Ron Paul wrote the book as an invitation to those who want to understand more about freedom, covering 50 topics in alphabetical order and putting his opinion on each of them, defending freedom and the least intervention of the state.

Associate II and event leader Felipe Calente highlighted in his briefing: “The author does not expect all readers to agree with these positions, but that these fundamentals can lead readers to inspire reflection, serious debate and independent reasoning.”

The book was released in 2011 and deals with topics such as Civil Disobedience, Envy, Political Correctness, Executive Power, Abortion, Patriotism, Monetary Policy, Drug Prohibition, among others. The group carried out a dynamic “for and against” voting to demonstrate the opinion of the members and started the debate afterwards.
