Yesterday, September 12th, George Orwell's "Animal Farm" Movie Study took place. The leader of the event was Associate II, Samara Gnocchi, with the participation of associates Henrique Miranda, Jhonnilo Cunha, Lais Cavalcante, and Magno Martins. The group brought the external guest, Gabriel Tebaldi, so he could contribute to the presentation of the study.
The event had a different dynamic prepared by the participants: the month before, the group showed the film to children from the Marca Institute project, in Cariacica, to test the theory that the film's content could be understood by any audience, including the younger ones. In addition, the group gathered the children's perception through an interview, which was shown during the event.
Besides the video interview, there was also a face-to-face interview, in which Samara interviewed Gabriel Tebaldi, asking questions related to the main themes of the film such as freedom, power, politics, among others, making a parallel with the current reality experienced by Brazilians.
Other videos were also shown, bringing more content and dynamics to the presentation. There was another participant via video, Dennys Xavier, who answered a question asked by the leader about the film in connection with the political and economic reality.
At the end of the event, questions were asked to the group, which answered with the collaboration of Gabriel Tebaldi. They were able to expose a little more of the content brought by the film and their personal opinions about the work and the themes brought up. We recommend that you also watch this classic film by George Orwell!
