Américo Buaiz Filho was the guest speaker this week

The event brought as its main approach management and leadership

Líderes associates were able to count on the participation of one of the greatest businessmen in our state, Américo Buaiz Filho, last Monday, the 21st. He is born in Espirito Santo, like all his projects, and he is an Economist, President and Controlling Shareholder of the Buaiz Group.

In 2021, the Group already operates in different areas, such as food, properties, education and communication, completing 80 years of existence this year. But it was not always like this: the speaker brought on his presentation the beginning of this trajectory and how companies from different niches increasingly perform, in addition to curiosities about family succession.

João Pedro Fontana Kaiser Lopes, Associate III and leader of the event, said in his briefing: “Understanding business is understanding people. After all, your suppliers, customers and employees are complex individuals like you. Thus, one of the most essential skills for a good manager is knowing how to lead.”

In addition to leadership being one of the main skills to be perfected in individuals, as emphasized by the mediator, Américo also approached the subject from a different perspective: "(...) you need to develop as a human being to have business in development. Do it with relevance, and not necessarily with greatness.”

The event took place in a hybrid format, in which approximately forty people attended in person, respecting all protocols and security measures of the place.
